PIEMR in September received a grant of Rs. 20 Lacs from the AICTE, under the MODROB scheme. The scheme aims to modernize and remove obsolescence in the laboratories/workshops/computing facilities to enhance the functional efficiency of technical institutions for teaching, training, and research purposes. Our college supports and encourages innovation in classrooms and laboratories, the development of lab material, and appropriate technology. We aim to ensure that the practical work and project work carried by the students suit the needs of the industries.
Using this fund, we would be able to finance up-gradation of equipment in laboratories, enhancement of performance parameters in equipment, incorporation of the latest development in the field, and replacement of old depreciated equipment by modern pieces of equipment. It will benefit our faculties, students through training, up-gradation in education, and personality development.
