Appropriate balance of technical and soft skills is crucial for successful placements and better career prospects. The event conducted by Department of Computer Science & Engineering on 7th February, 2024 depicted the same approach. Addressing the students Dr.Manojkumar Deshpande, Sr. Director PIEMR asserted the benefits of involvement in such activities and anticipated more such events with higher participation ratio.

A special felicitation programwas organized for students who completed Google Cloud study Jam courses an initiative by Google Developer’s Student Club (GDSC PIEMR). Overall 60 participants got recognition in mastering cloud computing skills through Google’s Courses.

This was followed by a Debate and Extempore Competition to remove hesitation and enhance public speaking abilities. Students participated enthusiastically on discussing issues ranging from role of AI technology to social topics like reality shows and many other current issues.
