Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Additive Manufacturing Center – West, an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, hosted at Ganpat University, Gujarat On 25th March 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering at Prestige Institute of Engineering Management & Research (PIEMR), Indore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Additive Manufacturing Center – West, an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, hosted at Ganpat University, Gujarat.

This strategic collaboration is aimed at fostering academic exchange, advancing research, and promoting skill development in the rapidly growing field of additive manufacturing. By combining the strengths of both institutions in engineering, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies, the MoU will pave the way for faculty exchange, joint research projects, and cutting-edge knowledge sharing, ensuring alignment of academic programs with evolving industry needs.

As part of this partnership, the institutions will jointly organize workshops, seminars, and specialized training programs for students, faculty, and industry professionals. The collaboration will also open opportunities for joint certification courses, entrepreneurship development, and stronger industry-academia linkages in the domains of mechanical engineering, robotics, and additive manufacturing. By pooling their expertise and resources, PIEMR and Ganpat University aim to create a vibrant learning and innovation ecosystem that nurtures academic excellence and equips learners with the skills to excel in the global technology and manufacturing landscape.
