About: Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering along with Soaring Aerotech Pvt. Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has received the grant of Rs. 12,45,000/-from IIT Indore under Lab to Market Scheme of Drishti CPS Foundation on 1st Nov 2023.

This project introduces a cost-effective, smart spraying solution using a cyber-physical system integrated with UAV technology. The system features a flow-controllable nozzle and an RGB camera, allowing farmers to monitor crop conditions in real time through AR/VR gear and adjust spraying as needed. This targeted approach helps in reducing chemical usage while maintaining or improving crop yields. Current work includes integration of the nozzle with the drone’s control unit and the use of commercially available AR/VR gear for visualization. The project aims to promote precision agriculture through efficient pesticide application, supporting sustainability and farmer welfare.
